The Fabulous Seventies

I have come to realize that all my years of working hard raising a family and managing to do Jack La lane once in awhile and then Jane Fonda and so on has given me the edge on aging.  Many years ago someone mentioned that the “Yogi’s” ate yogurt every day and managed to live to 100 and so I adopted their habit and hardly miss a day of eating yogurt. ( I even had a cup or two on my cruise).  Doing the Yoga and Pilate’s and strength training has also been a part of my daily calendar and all of my habits have paid handsomely in my good readings on Blood pressure, weight, blood work and bones.

The complements were endless on this cruise to Bermuda and younger people approached me,  asking if  perhaps I might share my secret to looking so good for a woman that is in her 70’s.

I keep repeating that exercise and healthy eating will benefit us from head to toe,  inside and out and I  for one am just loving my 70’s.  I am the gal toasting and wearing the green jacket!  I feel like a teenager!
