Looking Ahead

Approximately two weeks before Christmas and MsMillie will be celebrating a new birthday. The numbers sound like those of a little older woman wearing gray hair perhaps in a bun and oxford shoes and socks. But if we put the emphasis on 2007 we see that at any age we can look and feel years younger, just by eating healthy, exercising a few days a week (even 10 minute intervals) will tone and add strength to our bones and body. Walking instead of driving, jumping rope for increased cardio aids our heart rate. We can do all of this if we put our mind to it. If you think it, you can do it. Having a good self-image helps with all of our activities regardless of age or status in life. The better we feel, the nicer we look and others will want to follow suit. We won’t need sleep aids, we will sleep like babies. As I gazed in my mirror I see a younger, healthier and vibrant woman wearing a modern hair cut in a pretty shade of brown with red highlights. My new life style of fitness and good food habits are paying off.

You can look good too no matter what the calendar says. Happy Birthday to Me!

    Diet and exercise is most important when a person becomes AARP approved. My wife and I recently started a vegan lifestyle and we feel soo much better. Like you said, more energy, sleep better etc. I just hope I can one day look in the mirror and see a younger me. As for the hair, too late for that, there’s not enough left to color. Keep writing Ms Millie, I enjoy it.
