It has been an awesome four days in New York with beautiful sunshine and balmy temperatures. My sister Jo is as radiant as ever with her dimpled smile. We enjoyed a few hours of food and laughter as we caught up on each others’ lives and then it was off to Terry’s home. As I gazed at my oldest son, I could see gray hair on his sideburns and I started to tear thinking (where have all the years gone?) “It sure does seem like almost yesterday when he was playing baseball down the street and then graduating high school.”
Today, he is the father of four and grand -pop to Marissa and A.J.
My youngest Desiree who is a junior in college, loves pampering me when I visit and we love staying up at night camped out in her room and just talking girl talk. I am planning on seeing my oldest grandson who towers over my petite frame with his 6’2″ physique. He enjoys teasing and reminding me that I have a funny but infectious laugh for which I chuckle even more. So far I am having a wonderful time…
