Judi’s Birthday

Made it to Friday and the first day of August.  I started the day at a training for Bereavement Telephone Calls for Hospice.  We have a new coordinator and so we had some changes in procedure.  I found making these calls to be very rewarding as I became a listener and a visitor in these faceless calls.  I was able to help people to get through their grief and mourning and face their days with renewed hope and adjustments to life style.   This lasted about three hours and then off I was to get ready for the birthday girl.  Judi, the birthday girl picked me up and off we went to the “Outback Restaurant” instead of the original plan of Sam Seltzers.  It was happy hour and 2 for 1 drinks, so we each had the house Merlot and then enjoyed a wonderful dinner.  Judi is quiet, reserved and very smart and I am the boisterous, giggling gal so we get along famously……We had a nice time talking and enjoying the ambiance of the Outback and the waitress.  All in all it was another wonderful day……….Happy Birthday Judi………
