Be a Clown

By request I have been asked to show up in my clown makeup and clothes for my kindergarten children and first grade students (approx. 38) as an end of the school year treat.   June 9 is the last official day of school and so on June 1 myself and two friends will be clowning for laughs and giggles.

Merrily and Tammy asked their students about how would they like a clown to visit their room and the majority of them related wide-eyed and excited that they had never seen a clown.  And so lucky for me,  I get to do my first solo with the help of my two fellow clowns Helen and Joyce.   This will help me overcome being nervous and just enjoy performing.a few skits and jokes for their entertainment.   My roll of stickers that say I met a clown today and the few inexpensive trinkets we buy will be distributed to the children.  They just seen to love stickers of any kind.

The three of us  will be wearing happy faces  and colorful costumes to hopefully insure that no child will be frightened.  Hearing laughter and seeing smiles on their cute faces will tell all.

Ms Millie as “Sparkles” will be glittery and silly and wondering if they will recognize her?   Perhaps I should not speak and just perform and smile.
