The good news continues this month for Ms Millie with Darrin and Maria marrying the end of the month and now my granddaughter Desiree announcing her engagement to her sweetheart Brian today.  It was a happy occasion to receive that personal call from Desiree.   Eighteen years ago she decided my name would be Nana Banana and she gave me a wooden ice cream stick with a sticker on it from the Chiquita Bananas her Mom had on the counter. It seems in a blink of an eye she has grown and in her third year of college and engaged.  And best of all, she still calls me  Nana Banana!  How happy can one Nana be!
